Coaching involves an interaction between the client and the coach, in a setting or space that encourages a person to feel at ease and able to open up. The trust factor is vital, and it’s the duty of the coach to create this atmosphere; where someone can relax and feel free to talk about their personal situation.
The coach also has the responsibility to provide their client with the expertise that can support and assist. Let’s take a rather simple examples such as: professional sportsmen who succeed, improve, and perform to a high standard in their chosen sports.
What is one of the key factors in their progress? Well, one major factor is they have received to some degree: guidance and encouragement from a coach. The athlete has placed a certain degree of trust in their coach’s’ competence, and the athlete listens and follows the coach’s guidance – with a confidence that this will bring results and enhanced performance.
Many people are familiar with the term ‘coaching’ but stereotypically associate it only with physical training or educational development. And as I’m aware, I just used a sporting example to describe such a scenario where coaching takes place.
However, coaching can be provided for many aspects of life. And just as athletes and sportsmen need coaching to progress and to take their performance to the next level- so do individuals in certain situations, require coaching to enhance and transform their lives.
There comes periods in life, when a person can feel stuck and confused about what to do next, or a person can feel a lack of certainty about themselves and what their purpose is in life. In other situations an individual knows what to do and what they want, but they are experiencing overwhelming stress and feeling under pressure.
In these moments in life, coaching can be of assistance. A person is facing major challenges in their life, and sometimes all it needs is a fresh perspective and greater level of understanding. A chance to step back, so they can see a clear way forward. A coach is someone who can provide this, with their own level of understanding and ability to read into people’s situations.
One of the objectives of coaching is to instigate a breakthrough for the client. This can happen in the form of : a moment of clarity and understanding, or in a realisation of what one must do to move forward and progress. In other situations a breakthrough could be a dramatic shift in perception, or increase in personal energy and health.
Essentially, a client has experienced a transformation taking place within themselves, and their immediate reality. Well in a nutshell, transformational coaching is supporting and guiding a person to reach this stage. The coach may I state though, is never telling what the client must think, feel, or do. A talented coach will only convince and encourage the client to look at their situation from an expanded state of awareness and perception. And the coach may use different styles or techniques to achieve this, but it’s never done by imposition or coercion.
So what can I offer you specifically? I approach every individual client from a space of openness and non-judgement. Everyone is unique, and so are their lives. That’s why I don’t provide one size fits all coaching programmes or systems. Because every individual responds differently to information being presented, and furthermore, people are not systems.
I’m here to guide someone to expand as a person and not to place them in system or a box.
The approach I take is through teaching and guiding a person to embrace and connect with their own unique and infinite imagination, and creativity.
I work from the notion that every person has within their being an infinite capacity to: create, imagine and to live life to it’s fullest. And that true authentic power comes from living a intensely creative and imaginative life, that involves creating and fulfilling deeply profound personal desires.
The key is the imagination. Why? Because it provides the individual with the ability to discover their greatest vision for their life, and to bring forth hidden desires that lie within oneself.
How else is one to discover this? By looking at the world around them? No, because that’s a presentation of what already exists and it’s nothing to do with someone’s profound vision and desire in life. It’s found through imagination.
Yet, living on planet Earth in the 21st century the focus for most peoples’ lives’ is on survival rather than thriving. And imagination is something 99.99% of the adult population doesn’t use or live with. It’s the power that’s either forgotten or considered irrelevant.
This is one of fundamental reasons why I’m a transformational coach. I desire to create a life that is alive with electricity and deeply fulfilling, and I desire to live in a world that’s also thriving. Furthermore, I’m a coach that sees clearly the importance of living a life that is unique, and full of adventure and LIFE. What an immense feeling it is: being alive and energised by pursuing a desire and creating it as a reality. And the excitement and joy you experience, is taken to another level when it’s creating something new, original, never seen before, that has sprung from your imagination.
That’s why I have created and designed hundreds of different exercises and techniques, that are designed to stimulate and expand the power, scope, and range of a person’s imagination.
In coaching sessions, I guide clients to do specific exercises and techniques tailored made for them, so that it will beef up their imaginations. And when a person lives intensely with imagination, it’s at their disposal, to not only solve problems but go beyond them. And to find new ways to create personal desires, or discover ideas that will launch a project further along. Often these exercises and techniques have a spontaneous quality to them.
Spontaneity is good, it frees up stuck energy and rigidity. It’s what is often missing in a persons life.
Transformational coaching at Awaken Your Inner Power, is all about taking your life to the next level. You do that through what you Imagine and create. Now that’s what I call living…
You are only just at the beginning of your infinite journey of power.
There’s so much more to come…
